DUOSCAN ™ is a detector of explosives, including improvised, drugs and contraband, capable of detecting particles and vapors of hazardous substances. HF-QCM's award-winning and patented nanotechnology sensors provide the latest in the detection and identification of threats including military and synthetic explosives, peroxides and nitrates, as well as narcotic drugs including fentanyl and synthetic opioids.
DUOSCAN ™, thanks to a short analysis time and a quick cleaning process, allows operators to make quick decisions on the scene of an event. With thousands of units located in over 42 countries, DUOSCAN ™ is the most trusted explosives and drug detector and vapor detector to combat terrorism, drug trafficking and smuggling.
Drug and Explosive Detector
It guarantees the most modern detection functions to all security specialists, wherever detection has not been possible due to difficult weather conditions. The DUOSCAN drug and explosives detector we offer is resistant to extreme temperatures, strong wind, sand, rain as well as all shocks and falls. It is irreplaceable in all situations that require reliable, resistant, light and handy equipment. Detects drugs such as cocaine, heroin, amphetamines, methamphetamine, ecstasy, THC, MDA, and LSD. DUOSCAN can also detect other intoxicants, after further expanding its capabilities (threat libraries). It is reliable in detecting both military and plastic explosives such as: TNT, RDX, Semtx, C4, PETN and Derasheet.
Characteristic features of the DUOSCAN detector:
● modern and environmentally friendly technology of HF-QCM nanosensors
● efficient sampling (up to 30 controls on one blister)
● no radiation source
● light and handy (weighs 850 grams with the battery)
● fast warm-up time
● automatic calibration
● trouble-free and quick cleaning
● ease of use
● low operating costs (reusable sampler)
● the ability to work in a difficult environment (moisture, extreme temperatures, dust, etc.)
● automatic diagnostic system
DUOSCAN is an explosives and drug detector with high sampling efficiency. It enables real-time analysis of the collected sample while being inspected. Its mobility and flexibility enable convenient measurement in a hostile environment.
The collection of solid particles is performed by moving the probe over the test surface and inserting the sample into the tool for analysis. The most frequently examined surfaces are all kinds of clothes, luggage, cargo, ID cards, tickets and passports.
The vapor sampling is the suction of the vapor into a sampler which is then placed in the analyzer. Typical surfaces to be tested are cargo, containers, car carriers and containers.
